Christmas 2007

Christmas is here again. I love this time of year! We celebrate the birth of Christ and also get to spend a lot of time with family. I know there are folks out there that struggle this time of year because they don't have family or the ones they do have don't care for them. I pray that in some small way I can make a difference to someone this Christmas in the name of Christ!

I decided yesterday to start a new Financial Peace University class at church in January. Mark Nelson plans to inform the folks at Crossings about the class in case any of them want to take it. I pray that there will be someone in the class that "gets it" and turns their financial life around. I am working with former prison inmates to help them create budgets and manage their finances. Even though they don't have much to manage they still have issues they have to deal with.
